Modern Roses XI says:
Pointed apricot buds open to creamy white, hydrangea-like clusters of flowers. Flowers are single, 5-8 petal, 3.5-4 inches across in large clusters with slight fragrance. Foliage is dark and glossy. The bush has a vigorous, bushy growth with long straight stems and few prickles.

Botanica’s has this to say:
This extremely popular, medium-sized shrub rose has large, open, creamy white flowers containing only 5 petals. There is a lovely strong fragrance. It has large, glossy, deep green leaves on stiff upright stems, and the bush repeat-flowers well through the season. If it is pruned lightly it will develop into a well-structured plant about 6 ft high. ZONES 4-9.
